Giant Pumpkin Hunt
We have hidden 6 giant pumpkins around Butterfly Creek, each with different letters that when put together, spell the name of one of our scariest animals! Grab a quiz form on arrival and find all 6 pumpkins to spell the animal’s name and you will be in to win 1 of 2 spooktacular prize packs!
Spooky Animal Encounters
Don’t miss our popular crocodile feeding at 1:00pm and see some of our creepiest critters up close either at our 11:00am tarantula encounter or our 1:30pm wētāpunga encounter. Plus, our keepers are adding a Halloween twist to some of our other free daily animal encounters so make sure you check them out!
Face Painting and Entertainers
We have so much exciting entertainment happening! Spot our entertainers handing out Halloween treats all weekend, give them your scariest face or roar – they love to be scared! Plus, the kids will love to get into character with our free Halloween-themed face painting on Sunday the 29th from 10:30am – 2:30pm.
