Ruby Lacewing / Cethosia biblis

This species is widespread through northern India to China, Malaysia,
Indonesia and the Philippines. They are known as lacewings due to
the unique pattern of their wings. A butterfly of the rainforest, they are
mostly seen along the forest edge or along tracks through the rain-
forest. The elegant bright orange adults are thought to be distasteful
to predators.
