Family Friendly Cafe and Playground
You will work up a hunger after enjoying the attractions at Butterfly Creek, so stop in at The Papillon Café for some yummy fresh homemade food. Our cafe is a great place to meet friends and family or for a business meeting. Enjoy the sunny inside deck, or outside courtyard by our free children’s playground.
- Café hours: Monday – Friday – 7 am to 3 pm (a la carte only till 2 pm)
- Weekends and Public Holidays – 8.30 am to 4 pm (a la carte only till 3 pm)

Free Playground
Butterfly Creek has one of the best family friendly playgrounds in Auckland. Relax with a coffee while the kids run around and burn off some energy.
Entrance to the café and playground is free, but only café food can be consumed onsite. If you bring your own food you can use the tables outside the park entrance before you come in.
