Weekend Road Closure: State Highway 20B (SH20B) / Puhinui Road is closed this weekend (Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th of February) for major road works. Please use State Highway 20A instead, see directions below.
If coming from the Southern motorway or from south, take the signs to the airport 20A (exit 449B), follow all the way to the airport and we are on the right hand side before McDonald’s.*
If coming from the South western motorway or from Auckland city/North, take the signs to the airport 20A (exit 9), follow all the way to the airport and turn left into Tom Pearce Drive (opposite Z service station). We are on the left hand side past McDonald’s.
If coming from Manukau, Papatoetoe, Onehunga or Mangere take route 380 (the orange bus).
The Airbus express: If coming from Auckland central or a town on the direct route, you can take the Airbus Express.
It will drop you off at the airport terminals and we are a 5 minute walk from there.
Butterfly Creek offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport for customers who purchase attraction tickets. We provide this free of charge and is subject to availability when busy.
What you need to do:
This service does not require booking in advance. Once you call we will collect you as soon as we are able.
- When you arrive at the terminal call to arrange a pick-up
- When you arrive at Butterfly Creek purchase your attraction tickets (if not already pre-booked)
- Let the shop know if you need a return trip to the airport
- Enter your details into the shop book to book your return trip
Drop offs back to the airport will tend to be on the hour
The last pick up from the airport is 2.30 pm.
Note if you are part of a function, please pre-book your shuttle with at least 24 hours in advance.
