Summer Photo Competition
Win an awesome prize with our Summer Photo Competition. Enter your favourite photo from your summer trip to Butterfly Creek, load it to Facebook or instagram and use the hashtag #butterflycreeksnaps. We have an amazing VIP Animal Encounter experience to be won, so get snapping.
Show us your family, friends or yourself having fun at Butterfly Creek, or pics of you checking out your favourite animal or attraction in the park. Get creative!

Dinosaur Entertainers
Look out for our life-sized walking dinosaur, who will be wandering the park with his keeper on selected days.
Plus we will have our dinosaur keepers taking their baby dinos out – they love having their photo taken, so keep an eye out for them! Check the entertainment calendar for dates and times.
Arts and Crafts
Get creative and make yourself an awesome dinosaur or butterfly mask. Pick up one of our activity booklets and challenge yourself with our quiz and word puzzles.
Plus, be in to win some fun prize packs with our dinosaur colouring competition.
Face Painting
Kids will have a blast getting their faces painted at our special sessions throughout the holidays.
Choose to become a brilliant butterfly, a roarsome dinosaur, or bring out your reptile side with a colourful lizard. Check out our entertainment calendar for dates and times.
Summer Photo Competition Terms and Conditions
- Entering a photo into the Summer Photo Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Competitions opens on Monday 16 Dec 2024, and closes on Monday 27 January 2025. Winners will be contacted by Friday 7 Feb 2025.
- Photos must be no older than 6 months, any photos older than this will be ineligible.
- Winning entries will be selected after the competition close date, and will be selected by Butterfly Creek staff.
- By submitting images into this competition you agree and accept that images may be used for future purposes of promoting Butterfly Creek.
- By entering the photo competition, you confirm that every person depicted in your submitted photo has granted consent for the use of their image. In the case of individuals under 18 years old, you further confirm that you have obtained the necessary consent from their parent or guardian.
